Diagnostics & Imaging

Could an unseen illness or injury be plaguing your pet?

When people get sick or hurt, they visit the doctor, explain their symptoms and receive the appropriate care. With pets, however, things aren’t always this straightforward. Because animals can’t speak, they can’t tell us when something is bothering them. What’s more, many animals are good at hiding the signs of illness, which allows it to develop and worsen undetected.

Veterinary diagnostics enable us to identify and treat health problems in a timely manner. Quicker diagnosis of illness and injury can vastly improve the chances of a positive outcome. Our on-site equipment can help us quickly identify the problem in order to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets’ complete health care needs. Some of our diagnostics and imaging capabilities may include:

Internal medicine consults

We offer advanced telemedicine referrals to internal medicine specialists (and other specialists) who can visualize our results from our own in house laboratory, ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures (and other diagnostic evaluations) to help us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases as well as the latest treatment options.

Laboratory

Our on-site, modern imaging equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We have a high frequency stationary unit as well as a portable unit that is used specifically for teeth. We also provide ultrasound services and endoscopy studies.

Imaging

Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation studies and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations such as allergy testing.

Electrocardiography Services

We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

If your pet has been acting a bit out of sorts lately, don’t take any chances. Call us today and we’ll get to the bottom of the problem and get your best friend back on the path to good health again.
